Owner at IoT Nederland - owner at Intelligent Investment Solutions - owner at Research Unlimited
Keynotespeaker on Internet of Things | Innovation-expert at Kennispoort Drenthe. After studying Computer Science in Enschede I accidentally got the "Investment Virus" which would influence the rest of my life considerably. Started my first company in 1985 at the age of 21 which develops and markets financial software for investors (private investors but also Banks and Institutions).
Expertise in the field of Technical Analysis was something you could have gotten an exorcist at your door for... Nowadays TA is more accepted (people call it 'Big Data Analytics of Financial Markets' nowadays)... but still... I was on the board of our national TA-society VTA and for 6 years a board-member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (ifta.org) and experienced first hand that the financial community is small at the top.
Since many years my second company, Research Unlimited, provides its customers with TA-signals and advice. We scan 12000 stocks worldwide 3 times a day for opportunities and make an average result of 16% per annum with those algorithms.
Specialties: Financial software, Technical Analysis, Algorithmic investment
The last years my knowledge of electronics, coding en data analysis combined with my experience of being a business founder/owner for mor than 30 years brought me on the path of "Internet of Things" an I started IoT Nederland. Providing an on-ramp for businesses that want to start with IoT.
I got involved in Smart Industry, Smart Cities and Circular Economy.. and started spreading the evangelism of technology (as a speaker at many events). Won first prize in a national Smart Industry competition by the Chamber of Commerce and started helping startups, big companies and small cities find their path in Sensortechnology, Communication Infrastructure, Data analysis and Smart-City-concepts.

Martin is a well-known legal expert and has successfully built an outstanding law firm with highly qualified partners and colleagues. Trainer & coach at ICU
Martin is a trainer, coach and change management specialist. He motivates top management and people in the workplace and gets the best out of them, regardless their circumstances.
As a generalist he is able to quickly review processes and to really get to the heart of the issues, without losing sight of detail. His strength lies in his perception and observation. He is able to recognize and pick up the different qualities, talents and ambitions of his students. By further developing their personal skills, the students are better able to realize their ambitions and use their talents. This approach is not only practical but also focused on concrete results for both the student and the organization for which he or she works.
Powerful organizations are dynamic in nature and structure. This implies that employees are continuously exposed to change processes within their working environment. By giving trust, trust is also gained, and this provides the basis for openness during our training sessions. Because students know they are heard and taken seriously, they feel strongly involved in the (common) change process. This stimulates their own accountability and this contributes to the development of personal leadership. This is the only way how common goals for student and organization can be realized.
With the help of the online platform 'Perflectie', Martin is able to achieve lasting change of behavior among students. Through this platform, employees are able to cut their personal goals into feasible steps. This provides better focus and a greater chance of achieving interim successes. Students will also be able to reflect systematically through this platform. This gives a deeper insight into their current behavior and enables them to apply new behavior in practice.
